 Megan is finally moving into her own room today. We gutted the spare room and threw away about 10bags of rubbish that had accumulated in that room over the last couple of years.

Megan is really happy with her new Pooh Bear sheet and pillow covers. She wanted to keep her Hello Kitty quilt. She was sleeping within 10 minutes of going to bed tonight and we have not heard a peep from her since. i hope she doesn’t come wandering in to our room at 2am trying to climb back into her cot. It is amazing how people change so fast. Just this week Nok was struggling to recognise Megan when she went to pick her up from school on Tuesday. Megan’s teacher had put up Megan’s hair to keep it out of her eyes while she was at school. Nok was looking for the usual wild hair but couldn’t see it. It was only when the teacher said to Megan to say hello to her mummy that Nok realised that the little girl with the orphan eyes was really her daughter.

Since then she has been coming home with her hair in different styles every day. I think that the teacher is trying to tell us something!

Megan started kindergarten this week on 1st Nov 2007. The first day was a little traumatic for her as she didn’t want Nok to leave her at the school alone but once Nok had left she settled down and started to join in with the class. Today (Friday, 2nd Nov) was even better and she went with the teacher without too much problem this morning. She seems to be settling in quite well and even the teacher said that Megan is very talkative.

Does that mean that she talks too much? Who knows, at least she is not screaming down the school each morning when Nok leaves her there.
